Stars: **** This book is being counted towards the Herding Cats challenge and Book to Movie Challenge.Although I hadn't read the book before, I've seen the movie and I loved it. Of the Roald Dahl books I've read so far, I've liked some and not liked others but this is still one of my favourite stories. Matilda's family makes me very mad but I'm glad she has Miss Honey. I imagine this would be a good book for a child 8 and over. The way Mrs. Trenchbull treats children is horrible but I think an eight year old would be able to understand that it's just a book. Recommended.
